The official opening of the Milan Design Week 2016, began with Fuori Salone in the prestigious location of Via Durini. Here, the installations and projects by Cassina, B&B and Porro were introduced to the public in a lavish display of exciting colour and energetic forms.

For the occasion of Milano Design Week 2016, 10 progressive contemporary designers join Nike to explore Natural Motion through various mediums. Some works are conceptual — foreshadowing future technologies — and others practical. In many cases, materials unique to Nike, such as Flyknit, have been applied.

Loewe is following up last year’s series of ceramic-inspired bowls with a new set of furniture designs constructed from multiple fragments of leather in various shapes and colors at the 2016 Salone del Mobile Furniture Fair in Milan.
