George Vamvakidis and Stathis Panagoulis inaugurated the Breeder in November 2002, with the presentation of a solo show by British artist Jim Lambie. The gallery represents a core group young artists.

The Truffle is a piece of nature built with earth, full of air. A space within a stone that sits on the ground and blends with the territory. It camouflages, by emulating the processes of mineral formation in its structure, and integrates with the natural environment, complying with its laws.

The Piani collection is made up of a flat base and a flat top. The base is either a tray so that objects can be displayed in a triangular beam of light as if they were on stage or, in its longer version, a shelf so that more objects can be supported by this hybrid design.
