Whoever is familiar with the work of Swedish art director/typographer Therese Sennerholt will instantly recognize her stunning black and white prints. A similar uncomplicated simplicity has been employed in the interior of her home designed by her friend, Lotta Agaton. 

Bear House is a memorable holiday home designed for a fun loving young couple and their two small children in Cha-Am beach, Thailand, by the local practice of Onion. The inspiration came into being through the request of the client to provide a prominent space for their collection of Bearbrick figures, a modular bear figure created by the Japanese firm of Medicom Toy Inc.

For anyone who has dreamt of moving closer to nature, of adopting a different lifestyle in a cabin, deep in the woods, but of course without losing sight of the element of comfort and security, will love San Sen House, a project undertaken in 2008 by the practice of Alejandro Sanchez Garcia Arquitectos.

The love affair began when Joanne, an interior designer and Peter, a former chef, currently an art specialist, came across a group of abandoned buildings in the village of Uzes in France. 

The medina of Marrakesh is an exciting place, the winding labyrinths providing colourful surprises at every turn, in an endless meandering of shops selling a diverse variety of North African wares, from hand woven textiles to gold and silver.

Anyone who has visited the city of Amsterdam will be familiar with the traditional architecture of the tall narrow buildings which line the banks of the canals. It is one of these structures built in the late 19th century that was purchased in 2009 by Mark Fuller, with a view to converting it into a comfortable four floor home for himself and his family
