Villa Veth is a modern, customized villa, a private residence for a family of four. It is situated on a large parcel of land by a forest near the idyllic town of Hattem in the eastern part of the Netherlands. The driveway on the entrance side leads to a carport situated below the house.

The whole building can be transformed into a space for performances, a public, open theatre, with the audience watching from the ramps, the platforms, the landings, transformed into both actors and spectators at the same time.

MIMA started from the intention of planning a dwelling which would respond directly to the lifestyle of today's societies. How can architecture adapt to the quick life changes and ambitions of a well informed and increasingly exigent society?

Located in the breathtaking Dovrefjell National Park north of Oslo and designed by Snohetta Architects, we find a beautiful (to say the least) shelter. This small building was commissioned by the Norwegian Wild Reindeer Foundation and is meant as a sanctuary for reindeer watching. 

The Shadow House is a new build private house in Camden, North London. It has won a 2011 RIBA Award, Best small house of the year award at the British Homes Award 2011, received a commendation at the 2011 NLA Awards and was longlisted for the Manser Medal.
