Louis Vuitton has created an exhibition in Los Angeles that showcases its collaborations with leading artists over the past 160 years, complete with custom bags and a tropical pop-up shop. The Louis Vuitton X exhibition at the 468 North Rodeo Drive building in Beverly Hills contains 180 items from the French fashion house's archive.
Daniel Libeskind designs photo installation at Auschwitz
Daniel Libeskind has designed an outdoor installation called Through the Lens of Faith in Poland to showcase photographer Caryl Englander's portraits of Auschwitz-Birkenau survivors. Through the Lens of Faith is a series of three-metre-high steel panels lining a path near the Auschwitz Memorial and Museum in Oświęcim.
Iris van Herpen emulates a state of hypnosis for latest couture collection
The Dutch designer presented her latest collection, titled Hypnosis, on 1 July 2019 at Élysée Montmartre in Paris for the city's Haute Couture fashion week. Comprised of 19 different, multilayered looks, Hypnosis aims to reflect "the beauty and complexity of our environment" by mimicking the delicate patterns and structures found in nature.
