At the southernmost point of the Norwegian coastline by the village of Båly, Snøhetta has designed Europe’s very first underwater restaurant. With its immediate proximity with the forces of nature, the restaurant, which will also function as a research center for marine life, is a tribute to the Norwegian coast and to Lindesnes.

All buildings tell a story, from the architecture of ancient Rome to the skyscrapers that dot our modern horizons. Without this story, buildings would be simple boxes of pure function. In architecture, a residence is more than a simple shelter.

Designed and built in 1869 by John James Clark as his private home, it was imperative to restore and refresh this magnificent home with gravitas. Removing an octagonal gazebo, the home is newly extended, while interiors are clarified and visually softened to position the age and significance of the home as paramount.

Nature is a manmade concept to classify different living environments. The word is often used to describe an entity that is void of human presence and activities but in fact, a metropolis can also be considered a natural landscape for it provides ground for habitation.

The 56 sqm Apartment is a minimalist apartment characterised by a narrow length with an open floor plan. The kitchen and storage are placed along a wall and feature custom built-in furniture in order to maximise space.

Lokal hotel is an innovative boutique hotel situated in Old City, Philadelphia, whose interior space was crafted by the mastermind team of Jersey Ice Cream Co. All of its six apartment-style units are worth the spotlight as each suite has its own unique flair and even a name (after one of many famous Philadelphia residents of past and present).

Born in 1945 in Barcelona, he obtained the academic qualifications in the year 1970 in the Technical High School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSBA). He fixed his residence in the above-mentioned year in Mallorca and since then he develops his professional activity of liberal form with his proper study of Architecture and Urbanism.
