A slender swimming pool runs along one side of this concrete house in western Austria by Marte.Marte Architects, offering bathers views towards the Rhine Valley.Feldkirch-based practice Marte.Marte Architects designed the concrete house and pool for a sloped site overlooking the valley, which lies between the Austrian state of Vorarlberg and the Swiss canton of St Gallen.

The aim is a striking, graphic, minimal space offset with polished brass archways ribboning around the store to highlight the colourful, feminine collections. The textured render of the store front frames large glass panels offering maximum sight lines into the store.

Designed by Lucas y Hernández-Gil, H71 is 200sqm apartment set on the border between Madrid‘s museum precinct in Paseo del Prado and the Barrio de las Letras (Literary Quarter), the model of the ancient city.
