This serene private home on the island of Ibiza is the perfect getaway from the hectic day to day life. Berlin based interior stylist Annabell Kutucu designed this private home on Ibiza and made it into a wonderful serene home where you can only find absolute rest.

‘Why live in a silo if you don't respect the base form of a circle?’ asks Belgian interior architect Arjaan De Feyter, who embraced the challenge of designing an apartment located within eight old silos, converted by Axel Vervoordt Real Estate at the Kanaal development in Antwerp.

A loft-style flipped-plan rhythmically-organized house designed by the architects for their own family, this budget-sensitive human-scaled project wove together the architects’ deep knowledge of San Francisco’s urban context and codes with their crisp and clear material and architectural aesthetic.

The house dates from the 1930s and went through many renovation during the years.When it was our turn to renew the the 200 square meter apartment our first step was to simplify everything we felt was too much, in terms of dimensions and materials. The task was to create a relaxed, soft environment and the main interior feature is a dark, low-lying base line that runs like a unifying horizon through the whole apartment.
