Kew House is a renovation of a classic Victorian home in London designed by architecture firm McLaren.Excell, also based in London. The project involved adding an extension to the back of the home and renovating the full interior of the existing dwelling

Gus Wüstemann Architects has renovated a multi-family house with workshop rooms underneath in the area Seefeld of the city of Zurich. The house has been in a core zone since the new regulations. Therefore the outlines of the existing volumes are protected and the project had to be  developed in collaboration with the conservation of monuments.

Over many years, the family-owned brand Tribu has gained international reputation for creating high-end outdoor furniture and has been growing ever since. The scope of this project was unusual, as we were requested to imagine a new office and showroom building adjacent to their large production site in Belgium...

Matera is a quiet town in Italy known for its houses that are dug into intricate rock formations. “Sassi” is how the Italians refer to them, which is the Italian word for stone. A Sasso is a typical expression of Matera architecture. It’s a space carved out of the side of the mountain, carved out of the very rock the mountain is made from, in this case dating back to the Palaeolithic Age.

The cooking niche is conceptualised as a black 'cutout' from the cupboard wall, featuring a cooking top in polished granite and a back splash in rough, hammered granite. The kitchen fan is integrated in the cupboards, as are all the other appliances, creating a very calm image.
