Interiors

Born in Imola in 1965, he graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Florence. In 1992 he founded the architectural firm Costanzi Bedeschi architects. In 2006 he founded the architectural firm Marco Costanzi architect. He enters the professional world with a number of houses and showrooms projects.

WE re-DESIGN
We do not invent new forms, but re-CYCLE the existing ones, to dismantle and re-ASSEMBLE. We put the pieces together by changing the order and the rhythm, we re-MIX forms and re-INVENT new combinations.

The slight rotation compared to the long volumes of the terraced houses and its polygonal form give the tower-like monolithic apartment building a stronger autonomy, thereby benefiting its relationship with the two neighbouring buildings on the other side of the street.

The project for the House in Chamusca da Beira consists in the requalification of a small built aggregate in a rural estate and on its enlargement with the construction from scratch of a new small building, directly articulated with the exterior space.

PAT. has applied concepts developed through a straw of award winning competition entries to the refurbishment, fitting and furnishing of a 300 m2 flat in a XVII sec. listed building in Piacenza.

"I started working at the early age of 14 both from the desire of an economic independence and a liberation from books which I had not yet learned to love. I was restless, curious and in search to fill the void. I finally found fulfilment at 20 when I had the fortune to work with Nadir and Sandra".

The house is located in a scenically privileged position, high on a hillside in a residential settlement  in which a small church also is a part The dominant view and an excellent south-west exposure are a tangible presence in every  space of the house.
