Recently opened in the Prince’s Canal area of Amsterdam is the Andaz Hotel, the 9th of the design focused properties of the Hyatt group. Designed by Netherlands born architect, Marcel Wanders, it is located in an impressive structure which once housed the public library.

UXUS, the Dutch multidisciplinary design consultancy have completed the project of designing their new HQ in the historic Astoria building in the heart of Amsterdam. Centered on the concept of their design philosophy, ‘Brand Poetry’, they have created a series of exceptional open spaces which are conducive to imaginative thinking.

The recently opened Macalister Mansion in Penang, Malaysia is the first member property of the Design Hotels Group in the region. The 100 year old property was named after Sir Macalister, one of the first British governors of Penang during the colonial era.
