Unlike other designers who treat sheerness with some sort of vulgarity that make one feel exposed, Reed Krakoff references it in a way that is fluid and exudes lightness.
Marni’s collection for Fall/Winter 2013 was a hybrid of romance and austerity, a “new atmosphere” in the words of the house’s designer Consuelo Castiglioni. This antithesis was evident throughout the show’s monochromatic palette of strict, angular shapes softened by luxurious fur found anywhere from hemlines to stoles to gloves, bags and capelettes and boots.

Alber Elbaz stated before the show that “proportion is fashion” and that pretty much summarized what Lucas Osendrijver and himself presented for Lanvin Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
Definitely a strong collection from Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren , the Dutch duo extraordinaire presented a black and white collection for Fall/Winter 2013 of less theatrical and more wearable creations.
