When Kitani assigned me to design a small collection of furniture that would represent the company vision of 2011, I was sure that I had to design someting more than a "well crafted" chair.

Note Design Studio presented in the 2011 Stockholm fair, a series of beautiful objects of mixed use, material, and color. Looking more like alien creatures than stable objects, the pieces seem to come alive giving you the impression that they are looking at you with a curious expression...

Environmental friendly seating furniture with silk thread tightened around a bearing oak frame. The transparent expression is in focus, which creates new forms and brings forth a perception of weightlessness, while the light produces new shadow plays from the thread works of the Alvi Silk Chair.

The cartocci in paper clay are scultpures which are always different from one another unique pieces with a strong personality. They are completely handmade with a long complex procedure and they can vary in size and shape during the making process or the firing.

The Wigli design is based on the idea that continual movement of the body can help prevent back pain. Most office chairs force desk workers to remain seated in the same position for too long, putting the back under too much strain.

At the end of the forties Sergio Rodrigues, while still at the School of Architecture in Rio de Janeiro, perceived that Brazilian architecture was experiencing a moment of major significance.

This bench is imagined as a meeting place between two elements, two people, two tunnels. These tunnels merge and wrap within each other to create an unimagined spatial quality.
