I’ve many heroes: from Fellini to Gandhi, from Majakovskji to Che Guevara, from Sottsass to my old doorman (a very simple uneducated lady); the world is full of good examples to follow. Sir Isaac Newton once said: "If I have seen further it was only by standing on the shoulders of giants".

It is not often that an everyday object becomes a design classic but in the case of Big Ben, created by Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders, this could actually
become a reality. The huge wall clock, inspired by the well known London landmark of the same name, is part of the 2012 Moooi collection.

As part of the ‘Superhero in Every Aisle’ campaign, established for retail giant Target  by top advertising firm, Wieden and Kennedy, these brilliant sculptures were created by Guy Seese and Chris Mitton of W + K.

Dutch artist John Breed created this marvelously colorful installation for the newly opened Breuninger Shoe Store in Stuttgart, Germany. Built in a vast complex, formerly an industrial space, it is the largest in Europe.

I get my inspirations from all kind of arts and innovations.  Be open-minded and question the behaviors of the people around you. Then I have a kind of material and souvenir library with goods I buy on my vacations. Brooms from China, cake pans from Bulgaria, lamp from Nepal ….

The annual Light in Winter event took place in Melbourne, Australia in June of this year. A the theme to the festival was reading, the local authorities
invited Madrid based collective of anonymous artists...

A collaboration between Tim Durfee and Anna Regn has produced the Growth Table, an item developed from an everyday object, in this case, a table used by children and adults for drawing or crafts, commonly found in most homes.
