The latest in a series of collaborative projects between the iconic automobile firm of BMW and world renowned designers, is that with French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec who created the Quiet Motion Installation for the 2013 Salone del Mobile.

Martone Cycling Company is a newly launched fashion and design-driven bike company founded by bike enthousiast Lorenzo Martone. Martone’s aim was to create a city bike that would look as good as it rides; a bold statement of personal style.

A series of beautifully crafted objects were presented by Taiwan Eco Arts during the 2013 Design Week. Coordinated by Design Director Giulio Ceppi, the collection included 5 brand new items presented for the first time, a group of seats, each one an example of the exquisite artistry of Taiwan.

Presented recently at the Salone del Mobile is a collection of seven household objects, collectively entitled N=N, which represent a collaborative project by the design practices of Nendo and Nichetto. The project was realized through a method inspired by the Japanese culture of poetry writing in which two individuals contribute to the writing of a single poem.

A collaboration between the German brand Classicon and London based designer Benjamin Hubert resulted in the Membrane armchair, which was recently launched at the 2013 Salone del Mobile in Milan. The lightweight, almost transparent chair goes against everything that we imagine a conventional chair should be with its solid mass and foam filled cushions.

The Frozen Fountain is a retail outlet and exhibition space which has been operating in its current location on Prinsengracht in Amsterdam for two decades. Under the management of co-owners Dick Dankers and Cok de Ruoy, the 10 room plus establishment has achieved an unprecedented reputation as a place to witness the latest design trends on the Dutch scene.

The Element Collection of Tables is the result of a collaboration between innovative Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka and Desalto and was recently shown at the 2013 Salone del Mobile in Milan. The collection is composed several items including a dining table, low table and console table plus a chair.
