Taiwan Eco Arts at Milan Design Week

N=N by Nendo and Nichetto

Presented recently at the Salone del Mobile is a collection of seven household objects, collectively entitled N=N, which represent a collaborative project by the design practices of Nendo and Nichetto. The project was realized through a method inspired by the Japanese culture of poetry writing in which two individuals contribute to the writing of a single poem.

Membrane by Benjamin Hubert

A collaboration between the German brand Classicon and London based designer Benjamin Hubert resulted in the Membrane armchair, which was recently launched at the 2013 Salone del Mobile in Milan. The lightweight, almost transparent chair goes against everything that we imagine a conventional chair should be with its solid mass and foam filled cushions.
