As the seasons change and the nights grow longer, our thoughts turn to the festive season, raising our spirits as the city streets are transformed into a winter wonderland, the stores adorned with glittering lights in anticipation of the busiest time of the year. 

Copenhagen Parts designs and produces original and innovative lifestyle biking gear focused on urban mobility, functionality and style. They recently presented the Bike Porter – an integrated handlebar and basket as a response to the old-school basket weave.

At the 2013 London Design Festival this month, the iconic house of Moooi exerted a dynamic presence by inviting visitors to experience the Unexpected Welcome event at their west London showroom in Harrow Road. 

At the 2013 London Design Festival, the very best of contemporary Polish design was brought to the attention of visitors, thanks to the collaboration between the Warsaw based Adama Mickiewicza Institute and the Creative Project Foundation.

The ever growing popularity of the design qualities of this, once thought of, brutal construction material, is elevating it to the subject of experimental studies on its wide range of possible uses in the manufacture of household objects.

Presented at the Design Junction event in September 2013 was the most recent design project by the young Central Saint Martins graduates, Loukas Angelou and Vasso Asfi who founded the London based practice of STUDIOLAV.
