"Rain Bottle" is a project by Studio NENDO for the Trend Exhibition space at the Hall 7 of Maison & Objet Paris, the twice-yearly design fair. The exhibition's theme is ‘Words’, for this project designers were asked to consider the relationship between language and design.

Nendo have designed a men’s shoe, for iconic Italian footwear and bag brand Tod’s. Nendo chose to combine two materials for the shoe’s upper – a soft leather for the vamp, and suede for the quarter and backstay – and visually connected the two materials with side detail like an envelope’s string tie.

Having worked with major brands like Alessi, Moroso, Kartell, Flos, Puma and KLM, Wanders co-founded Moooi in 2001. Since then, the Dutch production house has featured work by Jurgen Bey, Jasper Morison, Bertjan Pot, Front, Maarten Baas, Jaime Hayon and Kiki van Eijk.
