Tom Fruin’s most recent colourful installation is to be found on top of a building near the Brooklyn Bridge Park in NYC. It represents a tribute to the hundreds of towers scattered throughout the city and part of the 2012 NYC Water Tank Project.

“Forever Bicycles” is a stunning installation created by Chinese artist/activist Aiweiwei, as a part of 21 works  shaped from 1983 till present, for the ‘Aiweiwei Absent’ exhibition at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taiwan.

Cologne based artist, Simon Schubert needs no utensils to create his architecturally inspired works of art. He produces these amazingly intricate designs simply by folding and refolding a sheet of paper numerous times until he attains the desired result.

The construction of the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion is an annual event, now in its 12th year. The coveted commission is traditionally awarded to eminent contemporary artists and architects. This year, the Swiss architects, Herzog + De Meuron and Chinese artist, Ai Weiwei have been chosen to collaborate on the 2012 project.
