Mat Maitland – Electric Jungle

London based Mat Maitland, visual artist, illustrator and Creative Director for Big Active Design, has ventured into the realms of film making in his collaboration with Kenzo. The short film, Electric Jungle has been made to introduce the Kenzo 2013 Resort Collection through a mind blowing dream like sequence of wild psychedelic imagery.

An Architect Gone Mad by Kazanjan

These surreal images of fantasy structures are not in fact photographs, but digital compositions which represent the art of Portland based Jim Kazanjian. He creates them by searching through thousands of random images, none of which were taken by him, and chooses objects, scenery and bits of buildings which he then uses to ‘construct’ his fantastic buildings.

Street Art by IEMZA

The French street artist, known as IEMZA, has risen to fame in his native city of Reims. Unlike the familiar sight of spray paint graffiti, the art of IEMZA is made up of lined drawings which bring to mind sketches and architectural drawings. Within his work we can see wide eyed alien faces, insects and creatures from another dimension, fantastic buildings from the world of dreams.
