The project for the design of the City Hall and Civic Center for the Municipality of Oostkamp, Bruges,  which would coordinate the widely spread out local government offices under one roof, was set as an architectural competition.

During September of this year a Starbucks pop-up shop designed by the innovative design team of Nendo, appeared on the streets of Tokyo. The concept of the store was to compare the pleasure of reading to that of drinking coffee and the need to place the same degree of importance in choosing your coffee to that of choosing a book.

The impressive new exhibition space in the Louvre, which is the home of one of the most expansive collections of Islamic Art in Europe, has opened. The wonderful glittering contemporary design is the work of Milan based architect, Mario Bellini in collaboration with the French practice, Rudy Ricciotti.
