A new playground has recently been opened in Australia’s National Arboretum in Canberra. A design project of the well known practice of Taylor Cullity Lethlean (TCL), the concept of the space way extends that of a simple playground.

On the island of Pingtan, China, construction has begun on the Pingtan Art Museum. Designed by the Chinese practice of MAD Architects, this is their third and possibly their most innovative museum design on a unique site.

Located in the South Downs National Park, a region of unspoilt natural beauty in the county of Hampshire, is the unique structure of Downley House. This visionary interpretation of a not so conventional country house, is the design of the London based award winning practice of Birds Portchmouth Russum.

On the shores of the Coeur D’Alene Lake in northern Idaho, this residence designed by the practice of Uptic Studios represents a contemporary interpretation of a traditional log cabin, a beloved structure in the countryside of North America.
