Villa Clessidra is a construction of much defined proportions. And as such it is also a bet. A bet in designing freedom within confinement. A bet in allowing continuity with the environment through an austere geometrical structure.

Ester Restaurant & Bar is located in a former loading dock of a two storey warehouse in Sydney’s Chippendale. Masterfully transformed by Anthony Gill Architects, this deceivingly simple interior pays respect to it’s semi-industrial context, resulting in a contemporary dining hot-spot with a robust and sophisticated feel.

The first new hotel on the Como Lake in decades, Il Sereno features 30 oversized suites all with their own furnished terraces and unobstructed lake views. Patricia Urquiola created a contemporary hotel with understated décor; a contrast to the classical designs that can be found around Lake Como.

Anchored to a steep site near the Yarra River, In-situ House has a strong respect for materials. Atypical to the surrounding neighbourhood, it returns craftsmanship and natural materials to the landscape, while still presenting a home of significant scale. It also challenges the typical planning of a Toorak family home.

Patricia Urquiola has conceptualized the interiors of the residents’ amenities at her first london-based development, and her first residential project. the design utilizes a mix of materials, including colored glass, timber, marbles, and bronze metals.

The front facade of this family home in Tennessee by Hastings Architectural Associates comprises a monolithic concrete wall and weathering steel panels.
