In the historic Le Marais district of Paris, sprawls a charming Art Deco glass painted ceiling, mahogany panelled walls and golden cracks in porcelain white tiles of restaurant ANAHI, temptingly inviting customers to step inside this theatrical establishment, also known to be somewhat of a fashion hub among the city’s couture crowd.

A classic mid-century home in Melbourne’s leafy east has been given a new lease of life, capturing the hallmarks of the modern architectural movement. The once dark and cramped single-storey Caufield North home has been reimagined with ample windows and an open floor plan, opening up its interior spaces and bringing the outdoors in.

Toronto firm Studio AC has transformed a cramped local residence into a light-filled, spacious interior with natural stone and pale wood throughout. Richview Residence was designed by Studio AC for a family moving back to Toronto, after having lived in New York City for over 10 years. The family wanted to replicate their New York apartment's open, modern feel.

The composition of the apartment includes three main blocks which seem to fill one common space: a long black cabinet, kitchen island, and emerald block, including kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The white color of the floor, which, in some way, reflects everything happening in the room, comes over the wall slowly vanishing and uncovering a plain ceiling that has been here since the very beginning, thus, linking this new Home with memories of the past.

Kew House is a renovation of a classic Victorian home in London designed by architecture firm McLaren.Excell, also based in London. The project involved adding an extension to the back of the home and renovating the full interior of the existing dwelling

Gus Wüstemann Architects has renovated a multi-family house with workshop rooms underneath in the area Seefeld of the city of Zurich. The house has been in a core zone since the new regulations. Therefore the outlines of the existing volumes are protected and the project had to be  developed in collaboration with the conservation of monuments.
