Founded in 2022 by alumni of Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Scala Studio lives up to its name, designing across every scale from the first sketch to final detail. Their latest project, a historic home renovation in southern France, blends soaring volumes with a refined dialogue between heritage and contemporary design, personally overseen down to the last detail.

Urban Retreat is a contemporary pied-à-terre in the heart of Athens, conceived as a warm and intimate refuge within a striking wooden cube. Designed by Vana Krimnioti, the space balances urban sophistication with a sense of quiet comfort, offering a refined escape from the city’s rhythm.

Erdem Hamza Architect + Interior has completed the Vaniköy Villa Project, a striking yet serene residence in one of Istanbul’s most historic neighbourhoods.Designed to blend modern aesthetics with cultural heritage and natural harmony, the villa exemplifies a seamless connection between architecture, landscape, and the spirit of the Bosphorus. More than a home, the project represents a way of living deeply rooted in its environment, embracing both tradition and contemporary design.

Norman Jaffe’s Osofsky House was commissioned by Meyer Osofsky, whose fashion label Aileen took its name from his wife. The project emerged during a period when Shelter Island supported a quieter form of architectural ambition, visible in modest scale and careful placement rather than display. The house occupies a gently sloping parcel, with living spaces oriented toward water views through bands of glazing.
