German architects, Mayer have recently completed a unique residential complex in downtown Berlin for property developers, Euroboden. Located on Johannesstrasse in the Mitte district, it is near Museum Island and Friederichstrasse.
Designed by Torafu Architects, this is a renovation project of a 40 year-old reinforced concrete building that originally housed storage and office spaces from the basement to the 2nd floor and residential spaces on the 3rd floor. Our current design focused on the building’s exterior and living quarters on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
A new unconventional and eye popping building, designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates, decorates the neighborhood of Asakusa, in Tokyo and serves as the district’s Culture Tourist Information Center. An innovation in existing layered architecture, the building is the center stage of Asakusa’s lively neighborhood.
