The 2012 fashion show featuring the ‘angels’ of Victoria’s Secret modeling the latest range of fabulous lingerie in the most theatrical way ever, was enthusiastically received by those fortunate enough to present at the event. This year, the six themes chosen were: Circus, Dangerous Liaisons, Calendar Girls, Pink is Us, Silver Screen Angels and Angels in Bloom. The guest stars accompanying the presentation were none other than Rihanna and Justin Bieber!
A ‘ringmaster’ with black sequined lingerie opened the show followed by the full complement of circus performers and ‘animals’ including a green eyed tiger with green satin undies. A ‘Santa’ in bright red satin and the calendar girls representing each month of the year, emerald green for March and St. Patrick’s Day and bright red for February and St. Valentine!
Beautiful hand crafted lace in pink and white, transparencies of all hues, animal prints and striking black and white compilations, satins and vinyl, dominated in the glamorous push up bras and high leg panties, all accessorized by the expected wings in fur, feathers, flowers, pom-poms and more! The showstopper was a $2.5m bra encrusted with precious and semi-precious stones, modeled by one of the best known ‘angels’ Brazilian model, Alessandra Ambrosio a vision in lilac flowered wings!
