The respected French fashion designer, Stephane Rolland, presented his Haute Couture Collection for Spring/Summer 2013 at the Palais de Tokyo Museum during the Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, to the accompaniment of violins played by ladies clad in white flowing Grecian robes.
A sophisticated collection of monochromatic garments in black and white with just a hint of grey. Exquisite body skimming lines with tiny waists and asymmetrical tops worn with sheer skirts and pants. Catsuits with structured ruffles and flowers and details of detached collars, shoulders and sleeves, all presented with the inimitable panache of Rolland.
The highlight of the show was the traditional couture finale with the appearance of the ageless stunning beauty, the 81 year old model, Carmen Dell’Orefice, who wore the bridal show-stopper, an elegant white tuxedo pants suit and cape ensemble!
