This elegant family residence is situated on the 21st floor of a tower block in the south of Tel Aviv, Israel. The L shaped flat enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of the harbour below, thanks to the extensive use of floor to ceiling glazing. A white PVC ceiling has been installed in the living area which serves to reflect the exterior surroundings and appears to increase the overall volume of the space. Whatever is happening outside is brought into the apartment, creating a changing mood according to the time of day or weather conditions.

Polished wooden floors are laid throughout the flat and the simple lines of contemporary designer furniture and light fittings perfectly contrast with the classic beauty of Persian rugs. The whole mood of the apartment is one of uncluttered harmony as the need for ornamentation is done away with.

The designers state: “ The design idea was to create a natural appendix to this visual correspondence in a territorial scale, and to obtain an ornamental integration of the city in the interior.”
