The Chilean born, New York based designer Pola Thomson’s new collection, Collection #8 AW’13 is composed of 20 looks inspired by the sensation of experimenting with vast and monumental landscapes. The colour palette features accents in dazzling turquoise and ginger red supported by neutrals, such as innocent white, creamy beige, midnight blue and ebony black.
Pola Thomson draws a collection that speaks about the ability of travelling in space and time with a blatant suggestion to the colossal Chilean Patagonia Paine Peaks. Each one of the creations displayed in the collection carries on Thomson’s purist aesthetic. Through a fluid yet sheltering silhouette, tunics, high-necked blouses and dresses are an approach of the perfect simplicity found in ancient garments.
