This project, which consisted of the transformation of a cotton mill into a fantastic contemporary house-loft with an industrial character, leaves no one indifferent. It is located in Zurich, Switzerland and was designed by architectural firm Arcs Architekten.
Materials such as industrial glass and black steel were used for its structure. In order to provide maximum flexibility, pavement surfaces were installed on the roof, to use it for the suspension of all functional parts (images, lighting, media, etc.).
The result is a wonderful space, large and full of natural light. A space where differing styles and colors have been combined to create a welcoming and charming environment. The living area has sofas in old yellow leather that stand out on a colorful red rug.
On a side wall, the library goes from one end to another, inviting us to enjoy a pleasant reading. On its side, the modern dining room with a wooden table and modern chairs in pastel blue makes a beautiful matching set with the dining room.
At the far end the modern kitchen, a long table in dark wood that divides the space creating a subtle division. The wonderful concrete walls, far from being cold, add a special touch to the space.
The modern bathroom with corrugated raw wall along with modern furniture creates a unique space.
