The Lane Crawford Joyce Group is a household name in Hong Kong as a luxury fashion retailer and brand management firm, which has grown in size and status since its mid-19th century roots. Their new fully comprehensive headquarters to house a staff of around 900, has been designed over seven floors of a former industrial building in an up and coming area of Hong Kong.

The concept of a New York loft layout was conceived by their in house design team, and as such, many of the industrial features of the building, with its raw surfaces and exposed pipework, were retained and restored. The vast interior spaces, 25.000 sq.f. on each floor, were left open plan with areas defined by the carefully curated furniture from Asia and Europe. A fantastic eclectic mix of Tom Dixon rugs, Dries Van Noten Art and a spectacular antique black lacquered Chinese boardroom table coexist with vintage pieces from the flea markets of Paris!

This is a no expenses spared transformation to create an interior which focuses on effective communication, thereby encouraging creativity, and the provision of ample private spaces to give extensive social opportunities to their fortunate employees.
