Hôtel de Glace opened its doors to the public. For the 2012 season, this masterful structure entirely made of ice and snow will be accessible from January 6th until March 25th, 2012. The Hôtel de Glace offers two distinctive adventures whether you come to visit during the day or in the evening. With its brand new design and fascinating program of activities, the Hôtel de Glace will amaze you!
The 2012 design of the Hôtel de Glace will be dedicated to the Northern Québec and the First Nations of this huge territory. Through the art, culture, knowledge and values of the First Nations of Northern Québec, visitors will enter a journey between folklore and modernity.
This season, new outdoor activities for families will be available on site. Two major projects will be launched this winter: the realization of an ice skating rink of 40-ft in diameter and the creation of the longest covered slide completely made of ice and snow. A great addition for the winter that will surely please visitors of all ages!
Since 2001, the Hôtel de Glace impresses by its unique character and its magical design. Enjoy one of the famous cocktails served in an ice glass, follow a guided tour, feel like a child again by going down the Grand Ice Slide or spend the night in one of our 36 rooms or thematic suites giving access to the outer spas and sauna.
