The most recent Fasano hotel to open in Porto Feliz, Brazil is the Boa Vista designed by Isay Weinfeld. As the first country retreat of the prestigious group, it is situated on farmland with lakes, forests and farms 100klm from Sao Paulo. It has been designed to provide the comfort of a contemporary ranch with the rural building materials of quality wood and stone, set in a soothing lakeside rural setting.

Overlooking the largest of the lakes, the low horizontal structure is designed with a central public area. The upper level functions as the lounge with seating arrangements of mid 20th century armchairs around a number of suspended 360 degree fireplaces, providing a touch of old world charm. Heavy wooden beamed ceilings and highly polished wooden floors are in warm contrast with the neutral color palette of the walls and rugs. The restaurant and bar are on the lower level and extend out onto a wooden deck on which to enjoy the peaceful view.

Thirteen modules on each side of the central structure contain the 39 guest rooms, all fitted out in the signature wood and relaxing decor of the retreat and each with a picture perfect view of the surrounding countryside.
