This series of hauntingly beautiful images are the work of media artist, Sergio Albiac. He creates the computer programs which generate the complex layered illustrations and then uses his artistic eye to decide if the work is perfect for what he had in mind or if it should be enhanced by traditional art techniques.
His most personal thoughts and desires are the inspiration for his work, whether using a computer program as an electronic sketch pad or putting pencil to paper. Through his art he expresses his freedom of choice, his lack of constraint which he feels a single medium would deny him. Of his art he says it ‘revolves around the interior worlds we create in our minds and the tensions that arise when confronted with our realities.’
