Designed by A-Cero architects, this concrete architectural masterpiece bases its modern design on clean lines, perfect volumes and its impossible angles. Situated on a 5000m2 plot, in Pozuelo de Alorcon, Spain, this single-storey building covers 1600m2 of built surface.
The architects have chosen to combine their trademark materials of concrete and marble with low consume vegetable ramps leading to the roof, this way creating the impression of a greenery-surrounded building reaching to the sky. The back front of the house is entirely opened towards the garden where the lounge, dining room, library, study and bedrooms are situated. The spectacular dark grey exterior gives the visitor a taste of the minimalistic, yet bold indoor scenery. The achromatic colour scheme works perfectly well with the symmetrically positioned stark, illuminated furniture, thus enhancing the visually intriguing element of the house. The wide windows of this facade allow light to travel through and cover the house’s porches. The property also contains an elegant garden, a small lake and a paddle track.
The renewable energy system, implemented on the roof, made of wide surfaces with solar tubular collectors, allows the house of energy autonomy and adds to its eco-friendly aspect.
