This stunning collection of 3D printed jewelry was designed by two young designers from the Czech Republic, Marketa Richterova and Zbynek Krulich. Through the development of 3D software more and more pioneering designers are taking advantage of this innovative method of design and production to achieve levels of intricacy within the realization of their designs, almost impossible to achieve by other methods.
Constructed from a durable synthetic material with a high degree of flexibility, the intriguingly lightweight collection which includes bracelets, rings and necklaces, was inspired by nature, both organic and inorganic. The compelling transparency of the highly wearable pieces offer us glimpses of trees, plants and deep sea creatures as envisioned by the designers. Another example of the possibilities 3D printing, though still in its experimental stage, it is not being exploited to its full ability, yet in the hands of forward thinking designers, we are constantly seeing exciting developments in the world of art and design.
