In March 2013, a radical makeover was completed on a popular gallery in Eureka! The National Children’s Museum located in Halifax, in the north of England, previously known as ‘Me and My Body Gallery’, has been renamed ‘All About Me’.
When researching for the most suitable material on the market in terms of flexibility, durability and ease of maintenance, the project developers, comprised of the in-house team and At Large Design as well as the production team of Paragon Creative Ltd., came to the conclusion that the new generation Hi-Macs® was the ideal choice. The natural acrylic stone ticked all the boxes and one additional plus was that it was available in a fantastic choice of colors.
After a six month construction period the result is a 850 sq.m. of fun filled interactive space containing more than 70 mechanical, sculptural and AV based displays. Here, the young visitors can learn about their bodies, diet, health and more, through a totally immersive learning experience in a truly inspirational space. What’s more, the organizers of the museum can feel assured that their choice of Hi-Macs® will ensure that the gallery will stand up to the wear and tear of intensive play in a safe environment for many years to come..!
