When design studio Terraza Balear, working with architect Osvaldo Luppi, was asked to redesign a coastal retreat on the west coast of Mallorca, it was obvious that the spectacular roof terrace was going to be the centrepiece for outdoor living.
Terraza Balear used Tribù’s Senja modular sofas, console tables, central Branch table and Nomad poufs to create a generous seating area. Combining different seating elements and discreet console tables creates a relaxed and flexible outdoor entertaining space, with room for friends and family to sit and chat or lounge with a book.
Also on the terrace is the dining area, which pairs the elegant lines of a Nox dining table with a wengé frame and linen-coloured lava-stone top with Regista dining chairs. Lush planting catches the breeze and softens the geometry of the terrace space.
Two Senja meridiennes are placed next to the cool, green-tiled pool. Their subtly coloured cushions harmonise with the stone, mosaic tiles and warm-wood decking.
The villa remains connected to the sea views with broad bedroom terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The light and airy forms of Nodi dining chairs and an Illum dining table perfectly inhabit the inside-outside space of the terrace.
A Senja one-seater sofa, Ile side tables and Nomad poufs on a bedroom terrace create a cosy seating area from which to admire the Mediterranean.
