The ‘X-ray’ phone is the inspiration of Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka in collaboration with Japanese product manufacturer, KDDI iida.
Inspiration for this mobile phone originated in the idea of a design without form. The coloured translucent casing gives the impression of invisibility and that only the internal parts of the device exist and are floating without the support of a casing.
Features of the phone include a scrolling LED display for alerts and notifications when the cover is closed. The X-ray phone is available in a choice of black, red or blue.
