The Leica M9 “Titanium” camera is the result of the collaboration with Walter de’Silva, the noted automobile designer. This limited edition exclusive product is a new interpretation of the characteristic features of the Leica rangefinder cameras.

The designer focused on the ergonomic design and handling as well as the technical specifications of the camera. The unique features include LED illumination of the bright-line frames in the viewfinder and an innovative carrying concept. Instead of the conventional straps, a single mounting point has been incorporated on the camera, aiding a steady grip and this together with a new shoulder holster which holds both camera and lens, facilitates one handed shots at a moment’s notice.

This collector’s item, manufactured from solid titanium with leather trim, is available as a limited edition of 500 and includes a Leica Summilux 35mmf/1.4 ASPH lens – the exterior of which is also made from solid titanium- together with a book devoted to the design process leading to the creation of the camera, all in a presentation case.
