From the 12th to the 17th of April Moooi proudly presented a panoramic overview on it's new products at the showroom in Milan for the 50th Edition of Il Salone del Mobile. In via Tortona 37 the new creations of Marcel Wanders, Stefano Giovannoni, Studio Job, Rooms, Sjoerd Vroonland, Bertjan Pot and Moooi Works where revealed in combination with products extensions by Marcel Wanders.
For Moooi’s 10th anniversary the facade of the showroom was concealed & transformed into a camera obscura enclosing an unexpected surprise: the Moooi Panorama. A panoramic overview of Moooi’s rich & artistic photography portfolio over the last 10 years, in combination with 2D models of new products, sketches and product cut-outs. The panorama gave the opportunity to move closer to the designs and zoom into their surprising details. Unexpected & mysterious fragrances where diffused in the showroom to complete the flavor of the presentation and strengthen the impact of the visual experience.
The new lighting products include the ingenious Mistral lamp by Moooi Works, the flexible Position Lamp by Rooms design, the high-technology Heracleum lamp by Bertjan Pot & the characteristic Mask Lamp by Stefano Giovannoni, the elegant Woood desk by Marcel Wanders, the medieval-inspired Gothic Chair by Studio Job and the multitask Extension Chair by Sjoerd Vroonland. At last, Moooi presented textures and patterns of the new Boutique cover by Marcel Wanders and the new Moooi carpets by Marcel Wanders & Studio Job.
