It's been a while since there was word out, that La Maison Champs Elysees hotel was being re-designed, now we get a chance to see what it is all about. Designed by none other but Maison Martin Margiela, the hotel is composed of two historic buildings and MMM has redesigned 17 guest suites, a restaurant, bar and the reception area.
A hybrid of both historic and contemporary design, the result is very tasteful and seems to work perfectly. The suites are divided into two basic concepts, day and night. The 'night'suites are all black with unique lighting giving an enigmatic atmosphere while the 'day'suites follow a contrasting white and bright language, creating a more pure and harmonious atmosphere.
Being an avid fan of MMM, its no surprise i find this project truly inspired, but here is a sneak peak so you can judge for yourselves.
