Located in an up and coming area off the beaten track in Hong Kong is the concept store, Konzepp. Immediately recognisable by its bright yellow origami shaped facade, the store is the brainchild of designers Geoff Tsui and Willie Chan of 33WILL design agency.
The store was developed in answer to the need for a place for the creative community to exchange ideas, to develop and collaborate on projects in intimate groups. Konzepp also welcomes shoppers to browse amongst their ever changing range of products in an amicable environment so that shopping becomes a journey of discovery. The concept is to display all that is innovative in terms of merchandise and ideas, music and publications.
But Konzepp is more than a curiosity shop, it is also a venue for parties, happenings and events and the pundits forecast that with its style and aesthetics, it is certainly here to stay.
