The Japanese architect Akitoshi Ukai and his practice AUAU have designed this beautiful house which is located in Seto, Aichi Prefecture. Characterized by a slanted wrap-like façade made of fiber-reinforced plastic, this minimalistic house has been designed in order to accommodate the needs of a young family of four.
Located in a much crowed area, the house’s multifaceted ‘shell’ provides its residents with privacy and relaxation. In 2010 the building has been awarded by the Japanese Good Design Award.
