Malene Birger is a nomad and collector of art, objects and stories. Travelling the world, her home bears witness to her life as a successful international designer and artist, founded on exquisite taste, dedication to hard work and a keen nose for business. As a highly creative person and a doer, transitioning from three decades in the fashion industry into to art and interior design came naturally to Malene Birger. In 2014, she sold her shares in her fashion brand and took a decisive step to move on, adding a whole new dimension to her life.
Louis Poulsen is delighted to introduce the new PH Aged Brass collection in 2025, starting with the PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass Opal Table Lamp in June. To showcase the new lamps, Louis Poulsen has collaborated with the inspiring Danish artist and designer Malene Birger for the campaign “En casa con la artista Malene Birger”, where the collection is presented in her stunning home located in Mallorca, Spain:

A classic collection The PH Aged Brass collection consists of the PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass Opal Table Lamp, the PH 3/3 Aged Brass Opal Pendant and the PH 3/2 Aged Brass Opal Table Lamp. Each offers the flawless lighting that Poul Henningsen’s designs are known for.The collection features mouth-blown opal white glass shades and a beautiful lacquered dark brown aged brass finish, reminiscent of the original PH lamps from the 1920s and 1930s.
