Designed by Hannes Peer, Casa Ortello is a refined Milanese residence that combines Italian Modernism with the warmth of an Alpine retreat. Located in a 1920s Art Deco building, the apartment brings together natural materials, earthy tones and carefully crafted details to create a welcoming and timeless interior.

The living areas feature warm wood panelling, textured brick walls and sculptural furniture, creating a rich dialogue between materials and forms. In the dining area, the bespoke Butterfly table and Alea chairs are complemented by the striking Paysage chandelier, a sculptural lighting installation that becomes a focal point of the space.

Through the interplay of natural light, tactile surfaces and vintage and contemporary design pieces, Peer creates an interior that balances architectural character with everyday comfort. The result is a sophisticated yet intimate home where craftsmanship, history and modern design come together in harmony.
