ELASTIC approached the design of Luura Cliff as a study in materiality, proportion, and spatial layering, where architecture is defined through the precise articulation of stone, light, and geometry. The project develops through a composition of clean volumes and horizontal lines, carefully embedded into the terrain to establish a sense of continuity between built form and landscape.

The design emphasizes tactility and contrast. Rough stone surfaces meet smooth white planes, while timber pergolas introduce warmth and softness, filtering natural light and creating a dynamic play of shadow throughout the day. Each element is designed to enhance sensory perception, allowing the user to experience architecture not only visually, but physically through texture, scale, and transition.

Spatial organization is driven by clarity and flow. Circulation routes are integrated seamlessly into the design, defined by low walls and subtle level changes that guide movement intuitively. Public and private areas are layered with intention, creating gradations of privacy while maintaining a strong visual connection to the sea and the surrounding landscape.

Through a restrained and refined design language, Luura Cliff achieves a balance between solidity and lightness. The result is a cohesive architectural identity where every detail from material junctions to shading structures, contributes to an environment that feels grounded, elegant, and inherently connected to its Cycladic context
