PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE shop which opened in Narita Airport duty-free area is the goods flagship designed by MOMENT design firm.
All of PLEATS PLEASE goods, are more a functional product than fashion. We have to challenge it to review the stereotypical display form of " Clothes = Hanging / Goods = Shelf ". Even where a horizontal rail is extending, and hook a dedicated display tool that was designed for each of the product to the rail, it is a mechanism where free display can be fulfilled. It can create a light scenery as the musical note on the staff notation alike.
