The Spring/Summer 2013 collection of Serien Umerica, the brand created by Maria Di Ambrogio and Stella Tosca, has been shown in Paris. The collection follows the philosophy of the brand which is to create pieces that allow each person to create their own individual style from the mix and match element of the distinctive shapes of the separates.
Their signature knitwear and leather accessories are made by applying innovative techniques to traditional methods of design and production.The pieces have the quality of the best of Italian design but with an alternative twist.
A selection of androgynous street wear, light fabrics and cotton knits which skim the body are matched with the selection of leather garments. Shorts, skirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, denims and denim jackets all make their appearance in irregular shapes, contrasts of lengths and textures in grey, black, sage green and off-white. Every item of the collection has been produced with the unmistakable brand aesthetic of sophisticated unconventionality.
