Once more, colour dominates in the window display of the Lanvin store in Paris. The Fall 2012 collection of Alber Elbaz is presented together with dramatic splashes of paint which are wonderfully synchronized with the jewel colours of the collection.
The unusual poses of the figures appear to be protecting themselves from the onslaught of ‘wet paint’ in a dramatic, fashion. Though less elegant than the previous display, Birds of Paradise, this one is no less complicated in execution which brings together the concept of art and design and its connection to fashion, in an attention grabbing window display
